We ship from Salmon Arm, British Columbia, Canada. TJ and North of Fifty are grateful to the Secwepemc First Nation, on whose traditional territory we live, work, and play.
We usually ship within a couple of days, but sometimes an item may be on backorder, especially during the busy Christmas season (September through November) which means it can take longer for orders to ship. Please allow 2 to 4 weeks for delivery, longer for Limited Edition Art Prints.

Do artists receive royalties or compensation for the reproduction of their work on these products? Yes. The artist's have contracts with the manufacturer and distributor and I am not privy to the details of those agreements so please do not ask me how much they receive. Really, that's none of my business.
Your items are designed in Canada. Are they made here, too? Sometimes, but not always. Paper products are usually printed in Canada. All Limited Edition Artwork is made in Canada. Some Tshirts and hoodies are made in Canada; some are not. Most other items are imported. If you are concerned about where a product is made, please fire me off an email and I can confirm or deny ;-)
How long does delivery take? We usually mail your item within a day or two. How long it takes to get to you is out of our control once your letter mail or parcel hits the Post Office. Limited Edition Art Prints can take 4-5 weeks for delivery.
There are a lot of variables that determine how long it takes for an item to get to you. If your item is going to an address in British Columbia or Alberta, you should get it pdq. If you live in a major centre, you'll get it faster than if you live rural. If it is November or December, Canada Post is going to be super busy and you should expect delays.
How come your shipping charges are so expensive? If you are asking this question, you have not shipped anything lately ;-). If your order fits through a mail slot, it's probably not very expensive to ship. However, if your item is too big to go through the letter slot, it has to go parcel post, and that costs more. We suggest ordering quantity versus one item as this gives you the best value on shipping costs.
What's your return policy? You can return anything (except face masks) for any reason within 15 days of receiving it, as long as it hasn't been used or damaged and it is still in the original packaging. In other words, it has to be in re-saleable condition. Since we've just talked about the cost of shipping, full disclosure, the cost to return an item is on you, the purchase4r. Once we receive your item back, we will refund you for that item. Shipping charges are not refundable.
